Frequently Asked Questions
Why multiply by 0.86?
Wax has a density of approximately 0.86 g/cm³, so this converts the container volume to the actual wax weight in grams.
Is 8% fragrance load safe?
8% is a standard fragrance load for soy and paraffin wax. Some waxes can hold up to 10–12%. Always check your wax manufacturer's guidelines.
What about wick size?
Wick size depends on container diameter and wax type. Use the container diameter as the primary guide and refer to wick charts from your supplier.
