Häufig gestellte Fragen

What is the difference between comfort and limit rating?
Comfort rating is for a standard female sleeper. Limit rating is for a standard male sleeper in a curled position. Comfort is typically 5°C warmer than limit.
Why does altitude affect temperature rating?
Temperature drops approximately 1°C per 1,000 m of altitude gain. At 3,000 m, you need a bag rated 3°C colder than the forecasted temperature.
What is a cold sleeper?
Cold sleepers tend to feel chilly and need a warmer-rated bag. Warm sleepers run hot and can use a lighter bag for the same conditions.
