Curtain Width = Window Width × Fullness. Curtain Length = Window Height + Above + Below. Fabric = Width × Length (m²).

What is curtain fullness?
Fullness is the ratio of curtain width to window width. 1.5× gives a light gather, 2× is standard, and 2.5× creates a luxurious drape.
How much above the window should curtains hang?
15–20 cm above the window frame is standard. Hanging higher (closer to the ceiling) makes the room appear taller.
Does this include hem allowance?
No. Add 10–15 cm extra fabric for hems and rod pockets when ordering material.
