Paint Calculator
Calculate how much paint you need for a given area. Choose the number of coats and paint consumption rate to get liter and can estimates.
How to Use the Paint Calculator
- Enter the dimensions of the area or structure (length, width, height).
- Specify material parameters if prompted (thickness, overlap, etc.).
- Review the calculated material quantity and coverage area.
- Use the results to plan your purchase and budget.

Liters = (Area × Coats) / Consumption. Cans are calculated for standard sizes: 1 L, 3 L, and 10 L.
الأسئلة الشائعة
What is paint consumption rate?
Paint consumption (or coverage) is measured in m² per liter. A typical interior paint covers 8–12 m² per liter on a smooth surface.
How many coats of paint do I need?
Most walls need 2 coats for even coverage. Dark-to-light color changes or porous surfaces may require 3 coats.
Does surface texture affect paint consumption?
Yes. Rough or textured surfaces absorb more paint. For rough surfaces, reduce the coverage rate by 20–30% from the manufacturer's stated value.
Should I buy extra paint?
It is recommended to buy 5–10% more than calculated to account for touch-ups, spills, and future repairs.
