Where do I find MET values?
The Compendium of Physical Activities (Ainsworth et al., 2011) lists MET for hundreds of activities: walking 3–3.5, running 8–15, cycling 4–10, swimming 6–11.
How accurate is this?
MET is an average. Actual burn varies ±20% based on fitness, efficiency and environment.
