Formula
CO = HR × SV. MAP = DBP + (SBP − DBP) / 3. SVR = (MAP − CVP) × 80 / CO.

Is the MAP formula exact?
It is the standard clinical approximation for heart rates around 60–100 bpm. At very high rates the diastolic portion shortens and the simple 1/3 weighting underestimates MAP.
Why is SVR multiplied by 80?
To convert (mmHg · min / L) into the Woods unit dyn·s·cm⁻⁵ used in intensive care hemodynamics.
