الصيغة
1RM = weight × (1 + reps / 30). Wilks = 1RM × 500 / |a + b·bw + c·bw² + d·bw³ + e·bw⁴ + f·bw⁵|, sex-specific coefficients.
الأسئلة الشائعة
Why the Epley formula?
It is the most popular 1RM estimator and is accurate in the 1–10 rep range. Beyond 10 reps the linear relationship breaks down.
Wilks vs DOTS vs IPF GL?
Wilks (1994) is the classic coefficient. IPF moved to DOTS in 2020 and to IPF GL points in 2020. Wilks remains widely used outside the IPF.
