What density should I use?
For a dense "organic" garland, 14–18 balloons per metre using mixed sizes. For a classic twisted arch with 30-cm balloons, 8–10 per metre is typical.
Should I add spares?
Yes — add 10–15% to account for popped or defective balloons. Increase the density value slightly instead of the length.
Does helium change the count?
No — the count is the same, but helium quality and balloon size affect float time, not the quantity needed to build the arch.
