What is an elite SV%?
In the NHL/KHL, season SV% above .920 is elite, .910–.919 is starter-level, below .900 is replacement-level.
Is GAA better than SV%?
They measure different things. SV% reflects shot-stopping; GAA includes team defense (shots faced). Use both together.
